[EN] Via Panoramio I found this cave but thought it would just be a shallow cave so the initial plan was to hide the cache near the cave, but after we visited the cave, I could not pass up on the opportunity to hide the cache inside the cave.
[IT] Quando ho trovato questa grotta, via Panoramio, ho pensato che sarà una grotta di superficie e il piano iniziale è stato di nascondere un cache nelle vicinanze della grotta. Dopo aver visitato la grotta invece non ho resistito alla possibilità di nasconderlo all'interno della grotta.
[EN] Use the way points with this cache to get to cave. From the parking, it's about 2.5 km to the cave.
How to find the cache in the cave:
- Enter the cave through the passage way. This will be the lowest part of the cave. Further up it will get much wider and higher. As the entry is rather low, you'll need to crouch down a bit to get through. Don't worry, it's only for about 10 meters or so.
- At the end of the passage way there are pillars, go a little to the right to enter the first chamber. Here you'll be able to stand up right without any problems.
- From this chamber, enter the second chamber that is right in front of you (not more then 10 meters away). To enter the chamber, you'll need to bow down a bit, but not as much as when you entered the cave.
- Once in the second chamber which is even bigger then the first chamber, the cache is located on the left side in this chamber.
- It's hidden under the largest boulder, just behind a smaller rock in a black plastic bag. You can grab it from the right side of the boulder.
As the cache got missing twice already, make sure to hide it back the same way that it is not visible unless you know what to look for.
As with all caves, please be careful where you go as things might be a bit slippery. As far as I could see, the cave is not that big that you could get lost and there are no deep holes or drops, but it's a good precaution to not enter the cave alone and make sure you have a descent flash light (and a backup). Using a phone will make it more difficult and you will most likely not enjoy it as much as you would with some proper flash lights.
In the cave, you're likely to see some bats and some creepy crawlers, please leave them alone. Good luck finding this cave-cache.
[IT] Per arrivare al cache nella grotta usate i waypoints. Dal parcheggio fino alla grotta ci sono 2.5 km.
Ecco come trovare il cache nella grotta:
- L'entrata della grotta ci porta al suo interno ed è la parte più bassa della grotta. Poi la grotta diventa più larga e più alta.
- Alla fine della entrata ci sono delle colonne. Andate un poco a destra e entrate nella prima stanza della grotta. Qui potete stare in piedi senza problemi.
- Da questa stanza entrate nella seconda, che si trova proprio davanti a voi (a circa 10 metri). Quando entrate qui vi dovete piegare un poco, ma non così molto come avete fatto all'entrata principale.
- Quando vi trovate nella seconda stanza, che è ancora più grande della prima, cercate il cache nella parte sinistra della stanza.
- Il cache si trova sotto il masso roccioso più grande, coperto da una roccia più piccola, in una busta di plastica. L'accesso al cache si fa dalla parte destra del masso roccioso.
Date un'occhiata alle foto per sapere dove cercare. Il cache è già sparito due volte, perciò si prega di nasconderlo come l'avete trovato in modo che non sia visibile.
Come nel caso di ogni grotta, fatte attenzione dove camminate perché può essere scivoloso. Per quello che ho visto, la grotta non è così grande da perdersi dentro e non ci sono buchi profondi, però, come misura di precauzione, non entrate nella grotta da soli e assicuratevi che avete con voi una buona torcia e anche pile di ricambio. L'uso della torcia del cellulare non vi aiuterà molto e in più non potete godere l'interno della grotta come con una torcia normale.
All'interno della grotta potete trovare dei pipistrelli e scarafaggi, per favore lasciateli stare. Buona fortuna nel ritrovare questo cache-grotta.
