Geocache Description:

TED JONES TRAIL

The Ted Jones Trail is a 2.2 mile multi-use paved path that connects the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) to downtown Ferguson. It is roughly parallel to Florissant Road, offering a peaceful tree-lined alternative. The Trail runs through a 392-foot tunnel below I-70, about half a mile from UMSL. The tunnel is decorated with a 3-D mural created by local artists and high-school students.  This trail is part of the longer North County Bikeway, which continues on-road beyond the Ted Jones Trail for 10.4 miles.

TED'S SQUATTY BISON GEOCACHE

Obviously from the name, you're looking for a squatty bison container.  This one is right on the trail.  No bushwacking needed.  You'll have to do a little hiking or biking as this cache is about a half a mile north of the Woodstock crossing. Parking is next to the trail on Woodstock or in UMSL parking lot at the south end of the trail. You could also park on the street on Redmond or Short at the north end of the trail.  The cache is only about a quarter mile from the north end of the trail.  This one is definitely wheelchair accessible.

Try biking around Ferguson! Here's a good map of all the bike trails in the St. Louis area

Please look for my other geocaches in wonderful Ferguson Parks.  Geocaches are allowed in St. Louis County Parks with no prior approval.

FTF Congrats to SHMama!
