Caching and Camping North Dakota Style 2012
June 1st- June 3rd, 2012
Load up your GPS and camping gear, invite your Family and Friends to join us for a fun filled weekend at Fort Stevenson State Park. Located just 3 miles south of Garrison on 41st Ave NW. Come for the day or camp for the weekend. This will be an event you won't want to miss.
Set up your campsite Friday night and then come join us at the ampitheater for a presentation on Geocaching 101. Saturday will include a fun filled day with presentations, exploring Fort Stevenson State Park to find the assortment of easy to challenging caches that will be hidden in their backyard. Then join us Saturday night for a pot luck supper. Grills will be available, please bring your own meat and a dish to pass. Plates, silverware, and napkins will be provided.

Park fees are as follows:
Entrance fee: $5.00 per day per vehicle or $25.00 annual permit.
Camping Fee $20.00 per night campsite with electricity. $25.00 per night campsite with electricity and sewer. $12.00 per night campsite without electricity.
Camping Cabins: $40.00 per night.

Pets are welcome. Please keep them on a leash no longer then 6ft long and be sure to clean up after them and dispose of waste properly.

Friday June 1st, 2012
6:00 pm or earlier- The fun begins. Come on in and find your campsite and set up for a fun filled weekend.
7:30 pm - Join us at the Amphitheater for a warm welcome and introduction to a fun filled weekend.
8:00 pm - Presentation on Geocaching 101.
8:45pm - Presentation from the park on the Play in our Backyard Geocaching Contest.
9:15 pm - Gather around the campfire at sites 55 and 58 for a night of geocaching chat and snacks.
Saturday June 2, 2012
8:00 am - Registration begins, pick up your event cache pages, sign a waiver and log book (Its part of our Agreement with FSSP to play in their backyard).
8:30 am - Short announcements
8:45 am - Presentation on types of Caches
9:30 am - Start playing in FSSP's back yard..... Find the Caches. CITO Event Prize for the most trash brought back.
12:30 pm - Bring a sack lunch to the Amphitheater, or eat at your campsite.
1:15 pm - Cache Talk or finish finding caches in the park.
2:15 pm - Keep on talking caches.
3:15 pm - Group photo and prizes awarded.
3:45 pm - Closing and clean up, make any additional announcements.
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm - Pot Luck .... Eat till you cant eat any more.
8:30 pm - Gather around the campfire at sites 55-58.
10:00 pm or when its dark. Night Cache (Bring a flashlight)

8:30 am - Join us for a NDGCA meeting. We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas on what should be happening in our association. If you currently are not a member of the NDGCA you are still more then welcome to attend. Come see what we are all about and how we can make your caching experience more fun.

Event T-shirts will be for sale on a PRE-PAY/PRE-ORDER basis only. Sizes and prices are as follows:
Youth sizes small to large and Adult sizes small to XL will be $16.00 each.
Adult sizes XXL will be $18.00 each and XXXL will be $20.00
The T-shirts will be a lime green color and have a design on the back of the shirt. To view the T-shirt design, click on the T-Shirt design box below.
If interested in purchasing a T-Shirt send an email to hljorstad@aol.com with the number of shirts and sizes you need. We will respond as soon as possible to verify your order. You will receive your shirt(s) on Friday June 1st at the event.
All T-shirts must be ordered by Friday May 11th.
