A cache for hikers over the village of Lastros, near the small
church of Agios Ioannis and the top of Mt Kapsa.
The cache starts at WP1, on the road from Agios Nikolaos to Sitia,
just before reaching the village of Lastron. You can park there by
the side of the road and start hiking up.
The hike to the cache takes nearly two hours, one way. It offers
great view over Lastros and the Cretan Sea. You can see the route

Then you have to follow your GPS to the cache.
The cache is hidden at a point with magnificent view over the whole
of Mirabello Bay, with Mt Dikti, Agios Nikolaos, Elounda and
Spinalonga at the background. Looking to the south you can also see
the area of Ierapetra and the greenhouses there.
