Geocache Description:

This cache is placed as the starting point for two trackables that we are releasing. In honor of my 24 years in the US Air Force, we decided to do two airplanes and see which one of them can "fly" to the most areas where there are military installations by 31 Jan 2013 posting pictures of their progress along the way. One is a jet fighter (TB2ZVWT F-117 Stealth Fighter) and the other is a turbo-prop (TB2ZVXY Matchbox Sky Force 84). Once these aircraft have "departed the fix", there will be room for other trackables to stop in on their journeys. Please insure container lid is tightly sealed; and replace the cache in its hiding place hidden better than found. The cache is a small camo'd lock-n-lock container located about 1/2 mile from the Armament Museum near Eglin AFB which has a great display of the history of Eglin AFB with several aircraft on display. One of my favorites is the AC-130A that I flew on as a navigator in South East Asia in the early 1970's. It is affectionately named "The First Lady". One must read the plaque near the aircraft to understand. If you have time when hunting this cache, the museum is a great place to spend some time and to also get the other cache that is located nearer to the museum (GC3B6F - War Birds). This is one of the oldest caches in this area.
