The Curtis Memorial Library is starting it's geocaching program!
The Curtis Memorial Library has purchased a GPSr to loan out to those who wish to cache. The official cache event will start at 2pm in the Library's Morrell meeting room. A great time to meet new and veteran cachers. Bring a snack or dessert to share. There will be a introduction to caching in the morning for people who wish to learn the basics, including setting up an account, hunting for "fake" caches put around downtown just for the event and other basics.
Intrigued about geocaching? Learn the basics with cacher Peter Robbins; then head outside to hunt for caches. Bring a GPS device if you own one. Stick around for a Geocaching Event immediately following. . Please register for pre-event by calling 725-5242, x225 or stopping by Brunswick's Curtis Library Youth Services Desk.
