Number 4 in the Manic Micro Series. The Horseshoe Bend area was actually a small community long before the Cordell Hull Lake was formed. The buildings are long gone now, and it has become a beautiful natural area, and a haven for hunters and fishermen. At one time, the Horseshoe Bend cemetery was located where the lake waters are now, and all of the graves there were moved to Jackson County to make room for the lake. This cache is located not far off of the road, in a unique container. You can pull in and drive back on the dirt road, just be careful if we've have recent rains- there can be some big muddy puddles.
