The Beverly Free Library has been at this location since 1929. It has been in existence since the late 1800's, but could not have its own location until the money was raised.
The library is said to be haunted and ghost activity has been recorded by various groups. There is supposed to be a ghost that hangs out in the left front corner of the library, between the 600-700 section. People have reported feeling temperature changes here. Every librarian who has worked there has reported strange happenings when they are alone in the library.
Say "Hi" to Tom, but he won't tell you where the cache is even if you beg. He may, however, be persuaded if you make a donation to the library. Or maybe he won't. This wonderful place is always in danger of closing because of the economy.
Please lay cache flat before opening. Lots of goodies inside - don't be greedy - and if you take something, leave something of equal value.
