Friday 6th - Sunday 8th July
Pitches are £7 per pitch per night, £3 extra per night for electric hook-up (we have reserved 15 EHU pitches, and there are just about as many non-electric pitches as we want). Please log your requirements and we will keep a running list on the cache page. Please pay the site on arrival, no extra charges for dogs etc. Arrival is from Friday lunchtime, EHU pitches have to be vacated by Sunday lunchtime.
The lovely campsite owners, Eddy and Jackie, are very relaxed and friendly but there are just TWO RULES:
1) When driving on the site please keep your speed down as there are children about, and...
2) Don't burn Eddy's lovely grass with your BBQ! All cooking appliances etc. must be raised off the ground so they don't scorch the grass.
We have planned a new series of 14 caches on a walk from the camp site and there are several pre-existing series nearby including Madmajor's Major Meander and 12+ caches on the Leicestershire Round, which runs past the site. The new series should be released at 10am on the Saturday morning, more details soon.
Non-campers are welcome to join us on Saturday from 7pm - the event logbook will be available to sign at our pitch. There is a £5 charge per car for parking and use of the site facilities, please pay on arrival and you will be given the gate access code. If you are arriving on foot or any other form of transport, there is a charge of £2.50 per person for use of the site facilities.
On Saturday evening there will be a communal BBQ so please bring your food & drink and join the circle!
