The third in the TROOPS series, this is one is about the United States Navy.

Not too much trail blazing here. There is nearby parking, but it is a little off the beaten path.

- They were founded on 13 October 1775
- As of 2012, we have over 324,466 Active Duty Personnel, 284 Ships, 3700+ Aircraft, 11 Aircraft Carriers, 22 Cruisers, 60 Destroyers, 27 Frigates, 75 Submarines
- "Non sibi sed patriae" (Not self but country) is often cited as the Navy's motto
- The famous tune "Anchors Aweigh" was written in 1906 and first performed at the Amy-Navy football game that same year. (Navy won 10-0.)
- "Bill the Goat" has been the Navy's mascot since 1893.
- Their colors are blue and gold.
