Welcome to Tintwistle (known locally as Tinsle) a small village nestled at the foot of the Longdendale valley. The village has a long history and there are even tales of Dick Turpin visiting. As far as i'm aware there has never been another event in the wider Glossopdale area.
I've been promising to sort an event for way too long and finally it's time to get it done!
Event will be held at the the Bulls Head Pub, 78 Old Rd, Tintwistle, Glossop, Derbyshire, SK13 1JY
Start time 7pm onwards Thursday 13th June 2013
The pub sell food but is only relatively small so if you can let me know if you intend to eat i'll prepare them for the increased demand.
There is a small beer garden overlooking the village green and the pub is very child and dog friendly.
For those who want to partake of the ales there is a railway station in Hadfield which is a short (but hilly!) walk away or an even shorter taxi ride.
The League of Gentlemen was filmed mainly in Hadfield and you may recognise some of the locations if you take a walk/drive along the main street.
There will of course be caches published on the day, a quiz and maybe some other shenanigans!
