First cache in the Aislably Series. A tricky find on the Teesdale Way.
This is the spot where Nelly Burdon's Beck runs into the Tees. not sure who Nelly Burdon was but her beck runs down here from somewhere near Teesside Airport.
The Aislaby Series follows the River Tees up to Aislably, starting at Yarm Bridge, follow the Teesdale Way (signposted Aislaby 1 1/4). There are several caches along this walk.
The walk takes you along the River Tees, a short walk up hill takes you into the village of Aislaby.
From the village walk along the road. Take care!
The second Public Footpath on the left will give you a great view accross the fields to Yarm, at the bottom of this hill you will reach Nelly Burdons Beck, then into the playing fields and back along the river to Yarm Bridge.
