The cache is not at the posted coordinates. However, the posted coordinates are a good place to park. The cache is within the Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park. The park is open from 8:00am - 5:00pm (Everyday) during Sept 1 - March 31 (Winter) and 8:00am - 5:00pm (Mon-Fri) and 7:00am - 7:00pm (Sat & Sun) during April 1 - August 31 (Summer). Since this is a state park, there is an entrance fee of $5 per car. You can get a yearly pass to all state parks for $40. The puzzle honors two noble creatures found in the New Mexico parks.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PUTTING THE CACHE CONTAINER BACK
After the first day of this cache being found it is clear to me that a little more guidance may be needed on how to properly "re-hide" the cache. There are instructions taped to the inside lid of the cache container. The basic idea is such. Start with the "outer container" fully opened up. Note that each "petal" is labeled with a number. Start folding in the "petals" with #1. Make sure each successive one goes over the last. Finally the last petal goes over #7, but needs to be tucked under #1. Once complete a small rock can be placed in the cup formed at the apex (originally a rock with quartz crystals) and this helps hold the whole thing together. Please make an effort to put the cache back together this way so the next finder can find it as it is intended to look.
