Geocache Description:

SDSQ = South Dakota Spirit Quest. It is a heading used on many caches in other states that deal with Cemeteries. This cache is placed with utmost respect for the area.

Danish Cemetery, also known as Danish Lutheran Cemetery is located Butte county SD, south of the town of Fruitdale. This cemetery is in fair condition, and dates back to the late 1800's. There are approximately 100 internments here, the oldest is marked 1883. To find the site, take Snoma road until you get to Danish road. The cemetery is 1/2 mile south.

You do not have to enter the cemetery grounds to find the cache. If a service is in progress, or if there is someone here maintaining a grave site, please come back at a later time. If you do chose to visit the cemetery, please pay due respect and do not disturb any of the markers or headstones. Follow any and all posted cemetery regulations. Most importantly, do NOT look for this cache after dark.

You are looking for a camo bison tube. Bring your own writing stick as there isn't one in the cache. You may need a TOTT to extract the log from the cache. Please return the cache exactly as found, making sure it remains well-hidden.

As with all of our caches, enjoy the area, be safe and have fun.
