Vale Cemetery (Vale #2) is located in Butte County SD, just south of Vale. This cemetery dates back to the early 1900's, and is the main active cemetery for this area. There are over 300 internments here, the earliest date of record is 1908. To get to the site, turn east on Rosander Road towards Vale from Highway 79. Just before you get to town, turn right (south) on Vale Cemetery Road. The cemetery is about a half mile on the left.
You do not have to enter the cemetery grounds to find the cache. If a service is in progress, or if there is someone here maintaining a grave site, please come back at a later time. If you do chose to visit the cemetery, please pay due respect and do not disturb any of the markers or headstones. Follow any and all posted cemetery regulations. Most importantly, do NOT look for this cache after dark.
You are looking for a bison tube. Bring your own writing stick as there isn't one in the cache. You may need a TOTT to extract the log from the cache. Please return the cache exactly as found, making sure it remains well-hidden.
