Built around the turn of the twentieth century, the Luscher Farm is the most intact historic farm in Clackamas County. It includes a farmhouse in the Queen Anne style,a gambrel-roof barn, a chicken coop, a garage/bunk house, and several smaller outbuildings on a 47.71-acre site. The farm's primary historic use was for dairy farming and cattle breeding.

"Luscher Farm" actually consists of multiple properties which belonged to Luscher, Farr, Taylor,Rassekh, and Lang and were purchased by the City of Lake Oswego between 1991 and 1999.

Known in years past as the Fletcher or Steinhilber Farm, the Luscher Farm was originally part of the Jesse and Nancy Bullock Donation Land Claim (1866). This was one of several pioneer family land claims that stretched between the Rosemont Road area and Marylhurst on the Willamette River. The Luscher Farm was located at the junction of two old and important market roads, Rosemont and Stafford, which were in use from the mid 1800s. Farmers used these routes to transport produce from the Stafford area and beyond to Portland and Oregon City.
