Staţiunea balneo-climaterica Lacu Sărat, situată la 5 km de Brăila, e celebră datorită lacului omonim, cu salinitate crescută. Fundul lacului e acoperit pe întreaga suprafaţă de un nămol terapeutic cu un grad foarte mare de mineralizare. Virtuţile terapeutice ale apei şi nămolului au fost puse în valoare încă din anul 1879, cand aici s-au construit primele stabilimente pentru bai calde.
Lacul, cu o suprafata de 1.72 kmp si o adancime de aproximativ 1.5m, prezinta importante rezerve de namol sapropelic, rezultat prin descompunerea anaerobă a unei specii de nevertebrate - Artemia Salinas. Apa minerala hipertonica a lacului, continand compusi ai sulfului, clorului, sodiului, magneziului, bromului (mineralizare 70-84 g/litru), este vestita pentru tratamentul bolilor reumatismale si dermatologice.
Cache-ul este ascuns in padurea de la malul lacului, in apropiere de mesele de picnic. Cutia este de tip click-clack de 0.5 litri.

The balneo-climatic spa town of Lacu Sarat (Salt Lake), located 5 km from Braila, is famous for the lake of the same name, with high salinity. The lake bottom is covered with a therapeutic mud with a high degree of mineralization. Therapeutic virtues of water and mud have been used since 1879, when the first structures for warm baths have been built.
The lake, with an area of 1.72 square kilometers and a depth of about 1.5m, has important reserves of mud, resulted from anaerobic decomposition of a species of invertebrates - Artemia Salinas. The hypertonic mineral water of the lake, containing compounds of sulfur, chlorine, sodium, magnesium, bromine (mineralization 70-84 g / liter), is famous for the treatment of rheumatism and skin diseases.
The cache is hidden in the forest on the lake shore, near the picnic tables. You are looking for a 0.5 liter lock'n'lock type container.
