Geocache Description:

Petite Côte Conservation Area

Petite Côte Conservation Area was created in 2007 alongside the Detroit River, south of LaSalle. The environmentally friendly boardwalk trail measures about 300 metres and is constructed from recycled plastics instead of traditional wood.

Petite Côte is an important marsh habitat. The Detroit River – A Canadian Heritage River, and Fighting Island – an International Wildlife Refuge, can be viewed from the viewing tower located at the end of the trail.
