Geocache Description:

The cache isn't at this location, this is a multi, so you will find co-ords to the next stage at this location. The "stages" are luggage tags with co-ords for the next stage. The final location is an ammo can.

You'll have to decide which on this property to go for first..you could go for the caches along this trail, or do you go down to the side ones along the river. Reach Wood Forest, just off the Sheepscot Road in Newcastle, is the single largest contiguious unit of land owned by an individual in Lincoln County.(700+ acres)
It is a peninsula surrounded by the Marsh River. At one point, in the late 1800's it was heavily populated with over 40 homes, now only one remains.
The mud from these estuaries is famouse for it's pottery. Thanks to the land owner for allowing these caches to be placed, please respect the neighbors privacy,
the field near the road to the east and the two driveways to the west are private property.
Please park only in the small lot on Reach Road, just off of Sheepscott Road, this lot only holds a few cars so please carpool if going caching as a group.
Sherman Lake rest area, route 1, is close(and has a cache).
Some of the trails are old roads, some are just "follow the blazes" some caches are 300' off the trail. I have added waypoints to help you get out via shortcuts, just incase you run out of sunlight/
Some are easy to get to, others are not, The elevation goes from the tidal river to over 200'...have fun, but be safe. Hunting is alowed so wear blaze durring hunting season.
