A cache I placed in memory of my first CITO event at Kamilo Beach on Big Island. This cache is located near one of many awe inspiring locations of the Big Island. Great views of massive wind mill generators..and the wide-open expanse that is the ocean...can be found here. Please use caution near this cache as it is near a cliff that drops off 30+ feet into the raw ocean. If you bring children.. please..please be cautious!!
A vehicle with decent ground clearance will make this area more approachable.. but normal sedans are seen frequently in the area. You can always walk quite easily to the cache location if you are unsure of the terrain. The cache size does not provide room for a FTF prize..the area itself should be reward enough. The cache includes a log-sheet and pencil. =)
