at the base of Mt. Clemens. Roughly a two mile hike from where we parked as the crow flies. (w/ proper coordinates, my apologies madmax!)
i parked at N 46 44.313 W 120 42.060 on the ditch bank. (madmax's parking spot is definitely roomier but if it is where i think it is than it belongs to a man by the name of razey... he is a strong advocate of the yakima militia, and tried to once recruit me. nothing against the militia or mr. razey, im just not sure how to take him, he strikes me as a fairly paranoid man... so be cautious if you choose this parking spot.) make sure you leave enough room for the irrigation workers to get by if you use this spot. (or madmax's) up on the mountain there are some old jeep trails but i dont know where they start so i just hiked in. one of the dogs scared up a herd of over 100 elk out of a valley and chased them until they headed up clemens so keep an eye out for wildlife. you will want to bring some water.
accuracy on my etrex was within 19ft, but there arent many places to hide a cache here, so i didnt think it would be a big deal. the cache is in a black plastic container roughly a gallon in size.
