Cedar Hill State Park is hosting a Penn Farm History day for Geocachers. This event will involve a geocaching hunt of the historic Penn Farm Agricultural Center. As you participate in this event you will explore the Penn Farm and learn about the family that owned and cared for this centennial farmstead. The event will run Sunday, March 18th, 2-4 pm. At the event coordinates you will find a uniformed park staff with the event log sheet and the Penn Farm Geo-Hunt activity book. This event takes place inside Cedar Hill State Park. Each person attending this event and completing the geo-hunt will receive a keepsake button pin. Entrance fees are $5.00 per person ages 13 and older, ages 12 years and younger are free. Visitors with the State Parks Pass can use it to get into the park as normal.
This is an updated post. I had set a date that was in conflict with another large event. At the request of many people I have moved the date to the following week. I hope this will allow more people to attend.
