You'll be humming Rocky Mountain Way on your bushwhack to this bad rascal located in a tree farm in Boscawen. Wet and nasty conditions (just read the logs from other, nearby caches) and you may be Living a Life of Illusion.
I remember when this album came out when I was 10 so when Joe Walsh finally made his way to New Mexico ten years later, and at my favorite venue in the world no less, i was unable to go because of work. So late into the night at a swanky wedding reception in Albuquerque's North East Heights I kept hearing loud laughing and just a general commotion from the lounge area where I find my hero and two very young girls partying hard. When I walked up he frowned a little when he saw my big camera set-up (Bronica ETRS, Stroboframe with a big ol' vivitar flash) and slurred "Do you want a picture?" I didn't even realize I was holding the darn thing, second nature, and put it down fast and said "No, I just want to shake your hand". I would love to tell you the clever conversation we had and the great banter between us but he was COOOOOOOOOOCKED! There was an awkward pause after a brief chit-chat about the show, Santa Fe, The Paolo Soleri, etc. and I said "you know I have to ask....".
Well, I missed what was reported to be a mediocre show but came away with an autographed business card "How ya Doing?".
