Bozeman 10 Star Tribute Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

climbingdivers: Not only is the cache site behind a construction fence, it appears that the whole area has been bull dozed. So I have to assume the cache is gone. Will come up with another variant of this one someday, somewhere else.

Geocache Description:

Every time a geocacher places a cache, they get a gold star, as they should. All they have to do is click on the "Map It" icon next to the "Search for geocaches near your home location" option in the menu on the right side of their home page. Putting out a cache is easy and fun. For new cachers and old it's a great way to get someone to hike to one of your favorite places or show them your secret hunting, fishing, or firewood cutting spot. Okay, I didn't expect you to go for that last part. I do my hunting and fishing at the grocery store and have most of my firewood delivered. Or you can use a geocache to show your camouflage techniques and ability.

When I moved to Bozeman a while back there weren't a lot of caches in the area, and I noticed quickly that only a few cachers were responsible for the bulk of them. This cache is a way of saluting those few who can see ten or more gold stars when they look at their search for geocaches map in the Bozeman area:
JBraach
sclinger
geo_diver
MM140
DChiker
HolyGuacamole
Diesel350
Scooby Patrol
RASTA STONE
RAYZER&FAMILY
eurohiker
CMWCwest

If I missed somebody, let me know, I'll add you to the list. It's also a salute to anyone who can see a gold star on their map. I'm going to do what I can to help add to caches in the area, and I hope all other cachers, new and old will do the same. Because if nobody put caches out, there sure wouldn't be anything for any of us to look for.

The cache is a camouflaged bison container. Please return as found. You will need to bring your own writing stick.

The cache is on the MSU campus, so you may have to deal with wondering where to park. There is a recycling area very close to ground zero, so you may be able to take care of that while you're in the area.

Snow may make it difficult to find the cache.

Happy Cachin', both hiding and seeking!

Congratulations to JBraach and his 4 year old for FTF!!!

Congratulations to MM140 for his 900th find with this cache!!!
