Wigginton Wander is our first series comprising of 10 caches and a bonus cache. It is a 2.9 (ish) mile circular walk starting and ending on Wigginton Lane (marked Comberford Lane on a map) and including marked footpaths across fields. Sensible footwear is a must for this series as it can be muddy. This would be good for any sensible geokids (due to traffic) and geomutts are welcome on a lead.
The first 10 are micro caches and the bonus is a small clip-lock tub. To find the bonus you will need to record the letter and number written in red on the logbook in the first 10 caches. The footpaths are not clear across the fields but the cache locations will help guide you. We hope you enjoy this series!!
Parking is available at the co-ords given for the bonus cache at St Leonard’s church, vicarage and village hall car park. This is thanks to the vicar who kindly gave her permission.
There are no FTF trinkets in the first 10 caches as they only contain a logbook so please bring a pen with you!! The bonus cache contains a FTF trinket for the series and is big enough for TB's and swaps!
This is the last traditional cache in the series and is slightly smaller than all the others as we lost the original cache when we were placing them. If anybody finds a random cache with a silver 10 on the bottom while doing this walk please let us know!!!
WE HOPE YOU HAVE REMEMBERED TO WRITE DOWN ALL THE LETTERS AND NUMBERS IN RED ON EACH LOGBOOK. If not you are now near the start of the walk so off you go again!!
