Newton has a great series of hike/bike trails around the outside of
town and it is continuing to grow. This particular trail runs from
Highway 14 through beautiful Maytag Park and woods behind the high
school.
This is the starting point (mile 0) for this portion of the trail.
There are plaques along the trail that indicate your mileage. More
importantly, there are quite a few easy-to-reach caches! Check out
the nearby sign for geographical information about Newton. This is
a busy area, so watch out for muggles!
