The given coordinates will not take you to the cache. They do
lead you to a good parking area to begin your hike. In order to
determine the actual coordinates you have to solve the puzzle
described below.
I have a friend that I go out caching with whenever we can find
the time. My caching partner has pretty much the same interests as
I do in terms of what kind of caches to look for, so we get along
pretty well. Our geocaching styles are very much different though,
which really works to our advantage on a lot of hunts. One other
clue is that we were given the handle "caching with shovels tour"
during the winter of 2010-2011 due to the number of caches we dug
out of the snow.
The key to solving this puzzle is to discover who my caching
partner is. To do that, you can study the four pictures below. I
have removed the heads from the four people so that you can not
identify them by their faces. All you have to do is determine which
one I go caching with. That information will lead you to the
correct coordinates for the hide.
If you cannot determine which picture is the right one, take a
look at the hint. It should help.
The terrain rating is a 2, which is probably pretty good for
this cache. It is a fairly long hike (about 1-3/4 miles round
trip). Most of it is on an easy trail, but the last several several
feet may take you into a thorny area. The difficulty rating
reflects both the difficulty of the puzzle and the difficulty of
the hide.
Please note that this cache is on
Pennsylvania gamelands. Be sure to abide by all the rules and
regulations of the gamelands. And WEAR ORANGE DURING HUNTING
SEASON.
