Located between Ausable and Pleasant Streets. Parking is available on Ausable Street.
Locals call this location the "Old Iron Stairs." The stairs provide quicker access from downtown Keeseville to the upper parts of town. The cache is small with only a log inside so BYOP. Please be careful opening container (instructions are on the container). While at this location I highly suggest walking across Ausable Street to the pedestrian bridge (aka. The Swing Bridge). The bridge was built in 1888 and is one of only two surviving today (one of only 10 ever built). It is on the National Register of Historic Places and is also a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark. A wonderful view of the Ausable River awaits those who decide to take the short walk.
