What: A chance
for those who didn't make it to the
launch party in Swansea or any of the Countdown to the
Geolympix events since (#11-Oxford
#10-Berlin
#9-London
#8-New York
#7-Poole
#6-Oxford Mk2) to hear more about the Geolympix, discuss caches and
caching and swap travel items in convivial surroundings. There's a
Harvester restaurant on the site but the event is in The Lamb &
Flag's bar area. There will be lots of Geolympix freebies available
on a First Come First Freebied basis, as well as items to buy to
help support this not-for-profit event.
Who: All
cachers welcome! Children are fine but sadly caching dogs will have
to stay outside (except Assistance Dogs) - You don't even have to
be interesting in the Geolympix Mega. You can just come for a drink
and a geo-natter. New to caching or cache events? You're especially
welcome!
THE GEOLYMPIX
Where: The Oxford Town Hall, Oxford,
UK. A convenient, central location and a historic venue and
surroundings.
When: The main event (GC22T2T) is on Sunday July 22nd
2012, with a full programme of events - including CITO and Night
Caching - around it.
What: An international celebration
of geocaching, featuring a series of events and challenges to make
this a Summer Festival of Caching! With all profits going to
charity, a chance to find 11 Icons in 11 Hours and fill up your D/T
Grid locally, plus a wealth of other features - talks, debates,
sales stands, geocoins and more - we hope you'll love our
plans.
Who: Cachers from far and wide. It's
being organised to be a GeoKid & GeoDog-friendly
programme.
