Geocache Description:

This is an easy cache and suitable for beginners. It is relatively easy to access (but you do need to cross styles) and it’s not too challenging to find. The cache is located a few metres off a public foot path, which crosses rough pasture grazing for horses

The cache is placed with the landowners permission.

There are great views of Crook and the Valley below as this is one of the highest points around looking south. There are also a number of other caches within a kilometre or so could be part of a day out.

Parking – There is almost no parking in the area so I suggest using the layby on Church hill due South of the cache location, or park further out and approach on one of the many public footpaths.

Additional Points:

This is private land so please keep to the footpaths when approaching the cache
Please keep dogs on leads at all times, no matter how well trained
The field often has horses in it, and although friendly can be inquisitive and rather large.
In the winter it can also get a bit boggy so bring your wellies and consider using the Northerly foot path that runs east west.

As an additional point there is a silver Land Rover nearby with a trackable attached to the rear of the vehicle. Despite being there two years it has not yet had one single log entry !!!! :-)

Have fun !
