Chorley is fortunate to be served by an excellent NHS hospital, but
this was not the only hospital in Chorley. Previously a second
hospital could be found off eaves lane which was closed in the
1990s. The land occupied by this hospital has since been developed
on and now a small housing estate occupies the area with a number
of green areas where people can walk through the estate. The
original wall and railings can be seen separating the front of the
estate from the eaves lane pavement. Well done to Team Microdot for
FTF.
