Geocache Description:

This cache was placed with permission from the Heritage Park Nature Center.

It is located along the Orchard Trail. Please click on the related web page above for a park brochure and trail map.

One sunny day I was walking down the trail after a fresh fallen snow. I could see shadows of birds and they were hopping from tree to tree. When I looked up, there were several robins perched in a nearby tree and many more all around me. Enjoy the walk!


Heritage Park is located on the west side of Farmington Road between Ten and Eleven Mile Roads. The 211-acre park are 4.5 miles of trails for hiking and nature study. In the winter there is cross country skiing and sledding. In the summer there is a playscape and a splash pad for the kids.

Park hours are 8:00 am to dusk.
