Pack a picnic lunch , take the family and go and enjoy this hike.
Total time needed for the full trail is +/- 3 hours and its well
worth doing.
The starting point is S 34° 15.599 E 018° 23.014 follow the
trail as no bush wacking is required to find the cache. at the
Intersection of the footpaths at S 34° 15.662 E 018° 23.103 follow
the path to the left.
The cache is hidden in a hole on top of a big round boulder with
two plants growing on top of it. The cache is hidden inside the
hole behind a small plant and covered with smaller stones.
The cache contains
- Logbook and pen
- Small “fancy” notebook
- Bottle of Cape Point sea water
- Sewing Kit
After you have found the cache continue walking along the path as
you have passed all the rocks on the right look back and see if you
can spot the ‘Vulture rock” on top of the rocks. Walk further and
you will walk through Arch rock and then come across a mystical
lake, good place to relax and have a picnic.
