Geocache Description:

lovely drive, easy park and grab

It was a damp morning in February, the kind that strongly induces cabin fever. Despite the patchy drizzle, we decided to venture out past Steven's Creek County Park and up Mt. Eden Road towards Saratoga, thinking that on such a lovely drive in the countryside, there was bound to be a ton of geocaches. Unfortunately, due to the mountainous terrain, we could not get a signal on our phones, but we kept driving, hoping the next bend would grant us a few bars of service. Miles later and still stuck in roaming, we came across a spot so ideal for caches that we were sure there must be one there. We stopped to look, but shockingly enough, there was nothing there. A phantom phone signal confirmed this absence officially, so being the prepared, experienced cachers we are, we decide to remedy this shameful defect and leave one ourselves. The spot is pretty obvious. It's between the creek and a very odd road sign.
