This cache is the 13th point on the Dartmoor Forest boundary, as established by the 1240 Perambulation. More details about the Perambulation can be found on the cache page for the Dartmoor Forest Bonus. On the front page of the logbook is an adjustment to be made to the Bonus co-ordinates, which you will need to find the Bonus.
If doing this cache as a standalone, there is parking on the roadside at Saddle Bridge (waypoint below). Cross the bridge then follow the O Brook up its eastern bank. The path is boggy in places, and you will have to cross the leat and some feeder streams, but it’s not too difficult going.
If doing the Perambulation as a route, the next point on is Dryfeld Ford. Cross the Dryeworke stream and wind your way up through the mining spoil heaps to the head of the valley. From there it is trackless fen up to the next waypoint.
