Fort i kawerny:
Fort należał do VII obszaru warownego Twierdzy Kraków. Został wybudowany w latach 1897-1899 wg projektu Emila Gołogórskiego.
Fort ten, wraz z pobliskim fortem 50 ½ OST "Barycz" broniły Traktu Lwowskiego oraz linię kolejową do Przemyśla. 5 grudnia 1914 forty te, wraz sąsiednimi fortami 50 "Prokocim" i 51 "Rajsko" odparły skutecznie atak wojsk rosyjskich.
W latach 70-tych ubiegłego wieku zezłomowano wieże pancerne. Poza tym fort jest w dobrym stanie, należy on jednak do prywatnego właściciela i jego zwiedzanie nie jest możliwe.
Uwaga: ogrodzenie fortu posiada liczne dziury, miejscami dziur jest więcej niż ogrodzenia. Proszę jednak nie wchodzić na teren fortu, gdyż jest to teren prywatny.
W niedalekiej odległości od fortu znajdują się wykopane w ziemi kawerny. Ich korytarze obudowane są cegłą. Pełniły one funkcję magazynu, wykorzystywane były także jako stajnia. Pierwotnie do kawern prowadziły 3 wejścia, obecnie dostępne są tylko 2. Przy jednym z wejść zachowała się się pamiątkowa tablica.

Uwaga: jeden z etapów wymaga wejścia do kawerny - weź ze sobą latarkę. Zachowaj ostrożność ze względu na śmieci znajdujące się przy wejściu do kawerny.
Współrzędne prowadzą na teren cmentarza w Kosocicach, skąd mamy najlepszy widok na fragment fortu. Tutaj zostały ukryte informacje (współrzędne i podpowiedź) niezbędne do znalezienia kolejnego etapu. Pamiętaj - nie wchodź na teren prywatny!
Pojemnik finałowy zawiera logbook, ołówek i kilka przedmiotów na wymianę.

The fort and caverns:
The fort was a part of the fortified area no. 7 of Twierdza Kraków [Cracow Fortress]. It was built in years 1897-1899 as a design of Emil Gołogórski.
This fort, together with a neighbouring fort 50 ½ OST "Barycz", was protecting Trakt Lwowski [Lviv Route] (now Wielicka street) and a railway to Przemyśl. On 5th December 1914 these forts, together with two neighbouring forts 50 "Prokocim" and 51 "Rajsko", fought off an offensive of the Russian Army.
In 1970s armored towers of the fort were scrapped off. Except for that, the fort is in a good condition but it's a private property inaccessible for visitors.
Attention: there are many holes in the fence around the fort, sometimes the are more holes than pieces of the fence. May this not tempt you - please, do NOT access the fort grounds, as it's a private property.
Not far from the fort, there are earth caverns dug in the ground and supported inside with brick walls. They were used as a stockroom also as a stable. Originally, there were 3 entrances to the caverns; presently, only 2 are accessible. Near one of the entrances there is a commemorative plaque.

The cache:
Attention: one of the stages of this cache requires accessing a cavern - bring a torch with you. Take care - there is lots of rubbish at entrance to the cavern.
The listed coordinates lead to a cemetery grounds in Kosocice, where there is the best view onto a part of the fort. There you are to find hidden information (the coordinates and hint) necessary to find the next stage. Remember - don't access the private property!
The final container includes a logbook, pencil and items for trade.
