The cache is hidden in Vändra, near the birthplace of the founder of Estonian Scout Movement, Anton Õunapuu (7.11.1887-2.04.1919).
Approximately 50 metres southwest from the hiding place, there is an oak tree planted in his memory.
Nearby there is also the reconstructed monument in memory of those who died in the Estonian War of Independence and the memorial stone that used to replace it. Anton Õunapuu is buried in the cemetery next to it.
The cache is hidden in a relatively public place close to the church and cemetery. Therefore, please be careful when searching for the cache and try not to disturb the local people.

2012. aastal tähistatakse Eesti skautluse 100. aastapäeva.
Aare on peidetud Eesti skaudiliikumise rajaja Anton Õunapuu (7.11.1887-2.04.1919) sünnikoha lähedusse Vändrasse. Aarde asukohast ca 50 meetri kaugusel edelas asub 1936. aastal Kalevlaste poolt tema auks istutatud mälestustamm. Läheduses asub ka taastatud Vabadussõjas langenute mälestussammas ja seda asendanud mälestuskivi. Anton Õunapuu on maetud kõrvalasuvale kalmistule.
Lähema huvi korral saab Anton Õunapuuga seotud kohtade ja mälestuste kohta väga huvitava ülevaate L. Männiksoo raamatust "Anton Õunapuu ja meie".
Aare on peidetud käidavasse kohta kiriku ja kalmistu vahetus läheduses. Seega palun olge ettevaatlikud aarde otsimisel ja ärge häirige kohalikku rahu.
