Geocache Description:

The final for this cache is ONLY available when the Bedford County Visitor's Bureau Office is open. The Visitor's Bureau Office is open Mondays thru Fridays from 9AM to 5PM, year round; and Saturdays 9AM to 5PM, Sunday 12N to 5PM from May until the end of October.

The coordinates will take you to the Bedford County Visitor’s Bureau Office’s front door. Very near their entrance door will you find instructions on how to find the final container.

The final container is a large wooden chest. It is padlocked with a four-number combination lock. The combination can only be obtained by exploring the rich historical locations of Bedford County by way of the provided GPS Games Brochure. A physical copy of this brochure is available at the Bedford County Visitors Bureau. There are four games that must be completed to obtain the combination: First, complete the three crossword puzzles by visiting the included waypoint locations (listed on the brochure). There are NO CONTAINERS at any of these locations. Second, 'jumble' the highlighted letters. Finally, using the answers derived from the first three games, solve the game four to obtain the combination.

Explanation of Difficulty/Terrain Ratings:
Difficulty: 3.5 out of 5 obvious hiding spot / in plain sight / less than 10 minutes to find / can be reached from a sitting position in a wheelchair; easily recognized as a geocache container / little or no camouflage; gives cache container type and/or location of the cache / time consuming puzzle; periods of mild to heavy traffic and/or muggle activity / spotty GPSr reception. Special note on the difficulty rating: Though this may be a significantly time-consuming cache, I could not bring myself to give it more than a 3.5 rating. The puzzles were created with families and children in mind.
Terrain: 1 out of 5 paved or very hard surface / wheelchair and baby stroller accessible AND can be reached from a sitting position; less than 500ft from paved parking/road; no vegetation growth / encounters with poisonous plants and/or wildlife very unlikely; flat terrain. Special note on the terrain rating: This cache was tested with the assistance of an individual who uses a wheelchair as his primary means of mobility to ensure wheelchair accessibility.
