Geocache Description:

Before you head to this location make sure you are wearing sturdy shoes and some water and be sure to check for ticks during the summer and fall. Look low for the hidden treasure. The trail will take you down a mountain, but just remember you will have to walk back up that same trail to get back to the parking lot. Enjoy the spectacular views of the tunnel. The railroad track that goes into the tunnel is still active so you may see a train while on your hunting adventure.


Parking is limited for this cache. You will be looking for a clear lock-n-lock box with a blue top. A special prize will be given to the person who finds the new cache first. The cache has a wildflower theme. Natural Tunnel’s wildflower will be placed on a card you can take but the wildflower found on the card is not found near the site of the cache. See if you can discover the location of this wildflower within Natural Tunnel. There is a little notebook with a pencil. Please put down your name, date, and a message in the notebook. A lot of people will be looking at the notebook so be careful what you write.
