Dave's Piglings: Time for these caches to go. It was there, but deep in nettles and they were feisty - got me right across the face and neck - ouch! Container has been collected [:)]

Geocache Description:

Waterhall Park Cache Series

Waterhall Park was once pasture land, part of the Waterhall estate which was turned into the Lakes housing estate in the late 1960s. The park is bordered by the Grand Union canal to the west and the River Ouzel to the east. On your walk around the park, keep your eyes open for wildlife - we spotted ducks, geese, moorhens, swans and a heron as well as some sheep in the neighbouring field.

This cache series is a circular walk of approx. 1.8 miles. The path is a firm all weather surface, but can be icy and muddy in winter. The ground is mostly flat, and where there is a change in elevation there are ramped paths, so the series is suitable for pushchairs, scooters, bikes and rollerblades (we’ve tried them all!). Most of the caches are a few meters from the main path, so might be difficult for someone in a wheelchair. There are two waypoints for parking, one at either end of the circuit.

** There is deep water near most of the caches **

** so please take care with younger children and dogs **

We have designed this cache series more for beginners than advanced cachers. We’ve used a variety of containers and tried to vary the types of hiding place. None of them are particularly tricky – no magnetic nanos, although there is a sneaky bison tube half way round! These are the first caches we have placed, so we hope that you like them :)

Waterhall Park Series – Tree Stump
You are looking for a small clip lock box hidden in the really obvious tree stump!

** Huge thanks to MKGees for moving his puzzle caches so this could be published **
