After four years of caching, Johfra made it to 1000. Congratulations. I have had a blast being your geocache partner for these 1000 caches and want to say thank you for all the wonderful memories. Can't wait to find the next 1000!!!! There is a special FTF prize for Johfra!!!
The Rome Sand Plains contained two caches that were some of our first caches we ever found or rather looked for ( geo theif was still around then), so I thought it an appropriate place for the golden ammo can. The cache contains two mini photo albums of places and things we have seen while caching, many of which we never knew existed, including this forest. We have always said the best thing about caching is the places it takes you to. So take a few moments and look through our cache album and maybe you will recognize a cache or two. To get to the cache you can follow the trail part way but then you have to do a little bushwacking to get to it. Nothing too major, but bug spray is a good idea in the summer and snow shoes in the winter, depending on the the amount of snow. Watch out for hunters in the fall.
