ITA: Cache "Buso del Cògolo", Castelnovo Comune di Isola Vicentina. Ciao, per questa cache ho deciso di guidarvi a fasi in modo da aiutarvi. Fase 1- Arrivate nel paese di Castelnovo e proseguite verso il centro. Da qui seguite le indicazioni per la località di "Bosco/parco della Guizza", una semplice strada asfaltata vi porterà nella zona collinare di partenza. Fase 2- Punto di partenza pedonale e parcheggio auto. Mt. 180 N.45°36.694 E.011°26.665. Vi troverete su un tornante ad un centinaio di metri dal parco della guizza. La zona è segnalata da cartelli e didascalie di carattere naturalistico. Partite a piedi per la strada sterrata, la famosa "strada dei sassi mori", una via completamente ricoperta da sassi vulcanici di varie dimensioni, continuate sempre dritti... Fase 3- PUNTO FONDAMENTALE. Arrivati a quota 274 Mt. N.45°36.407 E.011°26.218, prendete la strada sulla vostra DESTRA e proseguite per 50 metri, qui svoltate nuovamente a destra lasciando la strada. Il percorso si trasforma in un sentiero che tende a scendere di poco, dovreste trovarvi con dei campi sulla vostra sinistra e il bosco a destra, poco dopo il sentiero tente a salire leggermente. Fase 4- 260 Mt. N.45°36.434 E.011°26.128. Se siete arrivati in questo punto siete a metà della missione, dovreste essere all'ennesimo bivio. Andate a destra, inizia il sentiero che vi porterà alla meta. Il sentiero totalmente immerso nel bosco si rivela un pò ostrico, è tutto in discesa a tratti ripidi. Un punto importante è il passaggio "sotto la pianta", un tronco caduto un tempo costringe l'escursionista a passarci sotto, tranquilli, niente di pericoloso... Passato il tronco, poco dopo il sentiero si fa leggermente pianeggiante e dovreste andare verso destra, ci siete. Un ultimo passaggio da affrontare con cautela è proprio quello che vi separa dall'arrivo, passato anche questo psssaggio siete arrivati e vi comparirà sulla vostra destra una grotta enorme. Arrivo a Mt. 248 (coordinate pagina) precisione gps 10 metri causa zona impervia. La mitologia popolare ha immaginato in questo luogo la presenza di esseri strani, le "anguane" (mitici esseri femminili) e i "salbanei", (folletti) che con la gente della montagna hanno vissuto pacificamente da sempre. Possiamo rintracciare una testimonianza in qusto luogo, ormai spento dal progresso, dalle luci e dalla televisione, e da molto altro ancora... L'esplorazione del Buso del Cògolo, una cavità carsica che con i suoi cunicoli e con i suoi inghiottitoi, è il frutto dell'attività dell'acqua che, ricca di anidride carbonica, scioglie le rocce calcaree e le trasporta in profondità, dando origine alla formazione di stalattiti e stalagmiti. La cache (contenitore per alimenti) si trova a metà della grotta sulla destra sotto a delle pietre, il contenitore è di "buone" dimensioni, in modo da compensare la fatica fatta. La cache contine il log, penna matita e qualche oggetto. L'inverno è la stagione meno consigliata, ma il fascino che vi svela all'interno è unico. Consiglio prudenza e attenzione, calzature e abbigliamento adatto. Se camminate in silenzio nel bosco, potreste avere la fortuna di imbattervi in splendidi esemplari di volpi e gruppi di caprioli, che in questa zona abbondano. Un consiglio particolare che ritengo giusto fare, e che tanti non prendono in considerazione, è l'incontro con la Salamandra Pezzata all'interno della caverna visto che è una zona molto umida. Un anfibio di color giallonero, lunga dai 10 ai 20 centimetri. Vive in zone umide e boschive. Si muove lentamente sul terreno e si difende emettendo, se attaccata (basta toccarla), una sostanza urticante dall'odore penetrante, evitate di toccarla a mani NUDE! La sostanza tossica se arriva al contatto con i vostri occhi la situazione può rivelarsi pericolosa! State attenti amici, molti sottovalutano questo anfibio. Nota.
