The cache is not hidden at the posted coordinates.
If you go to the posted coordinates you will find the newest addition to the Chico Air Museum’s aircraft collection. This fighter plane is a bit special to me, as it is from the 1st Fighter Wing (hence the "FF" on the vertical stabilizers), which is where I served while I was in the USAF (1983-1987). To find the container you will need to do a bit of military research and answer the following questions.
The cache can be found at N 39 47.ABC W 121 51.DEF
A) What is the numeric designation of the squadron this aircraft was assigned to? (Add the digits together)
B) The fighter jet now used in place of the one on display is the F-22. What type of plane is on display at the Chico Air Museum? (Add the two digits together)
C) The nickname for the squadron was “The Ironmen” and also “this”.
D) What year was the squadron first activated? (Third digit, divide by 2)
E) What year was the squadron deactivated? (Last digit)
F) Like the F-22 “Raptor”, this aircraft has what “bird” name attached to it? (Second letter)
