Retornada al centre de la ciutat de Barcelona amb l’entrada del nou segle, després de més de trenta anys a l’edifici de les Cúpules, al campus de la Diagonal, ocupen juntes la Facultat de Geografia i Història i la Facultat de Filosofia, un edifici nou al centre de la ciutat prop del Raval, obra de l’arquitecte Cristian Cirici, fill de l’antic professor de la Facultat Alexandre Cirici Pellicer.
La Facultat de Geografia i Història, amb més de 3.500 estudiants de primer i segon cicle és un dels centres de la UB amb més alumnat. Fins ara oferia les llicenciatures d’Història, Història de l’Art, Antropologia Social i Cultural, i Geografia. L’entrada del Pla Bolonya, ha transformat les antigues llicenciatures en graus i ha propiciat la creació d’un grau nou en Arqueologia.
La Facultat de Filosofia és el centre encarregat de l'organització dels ensenyaments i dels processos acadèmics, administratius i de gestió conduents a l'obtenció del títol acadèmic de Filosofia, com també de la connexió amb els corresponents sectors professionals i laborals.

Returned to the city center of Barcelona with the arrival of the new century, after more than thirty years in the building of the Domes, on the Diagonal Campus, occupies, together the Faculty of Geography and History and the Faculty of Philosophy, a new building in the city center near of El Raval, designed by architect Christian Cirici, son of the former professor of the Faculty AlexandreCirici Pellicer.
The Faculty of Geography and History, with over 3,500 students in first and second cycle is one of the centers with most students in the UB. Until now offering the degree in History, Art History, Social and Cultural Anthropology, and Geography. The entrance of Bologna plan, has transformed the old undergraduate degrees and has led to the creation of a new degree in Archaeology.
The Faculty of Philosophy is the center responsible for organizing the processes of teaching and academic, administrative and management leading to the award of academic degree in Philosophy, as well as connecting with the appropriate professional and occupational sectors.
