One of SA Waters main transport lines is the Morgan to Whyalla pipelines.
As you can see when at GZ 2 pipelines one larger then the other. You are probably thinking why 2 pipelines travel together from Morgan to Whyalla. As a kid travelling a fair bit along these pipelines my father had the theory that one was for Hot water and the other cold water and continued to go with this story. As my partner knows a fair bit about these lines I found the true story.
The larger main (Express line)is used to transport water quickly from Morgan to Whyalla directly. Whereas the smaller main supplies small townships with water between Morgan and Whyalla.
