We named this cache because of its close proximity to the nearby abattoir. When you find the cache you will understand what we mean. It is a micro cache so bring your own pen and a pair of tweezers might come in handy.
This cache is placed just off a public footpath on a green lane. Access can be from Preston village hall carpark - Turn right out of the carpark, past the butchers and then turn right down Nun's Walk. Follow the public footpath which takes you across fields (grazing horses so please keep any dogs on leads) and then along the back of the abattoir. Follow the footpath turning right down the lane. The footpath takes a left after the large house but instead of taking the path, follow the green lane straight ahead. You will find the cache halfway down the lane.
Alternatively you can access the cache location from Neat Marsh road. Parking is limited because of the narrow road so please park sensibly. Going down Neat Marsh road you pass the abattoir on your left and then shortly afterwards you will see a green lane. The cache is situated down there on your left. We named the cache because of its location so close to the abattoir and when you find it you will understnd why. They say that these might fly but they definitely can climb trees because this one is well hidden among the branches!
