Geocache Description:

See C&L#1 for additional waypoints

This series is placed on a trail in a small portion of Pachaug State Forest to the west of Rt-201. All caches were placed fairly close to the trail (2'-15'). All were placed in plain sight, not hidden under a pile of rocks, leaves, or sticks. If in a rock wall, it was placed in a natural crevice. If placed on a stump, it was placed in a natural crevice. One or more may be hanging, but again in plain sight. A few are more than 12 inches off the ground, but again easy to spot.

Please rehide exactly as found. Please do not cover the items. This is an infrequently used trail, so muggling ought to be low risk.

Hunting may occur in or near this area. You are strongly encouraged to wear day-glow orange on your torso and head during hunting season. This area is dog friendly, but you will need to have your dog on a leash. We brought our Golden Retriever on us to hide the caches, but we've pulled at least 50 ticks off him, so beware.

The entire trip to find all 10 caches should be about 2.0 miles plus any wandering that occurs at each 'ground zero'. These were intended to be an easy series along a pleasant hike. The terrain is fairly easy, our GPS reported about 110' of elevation change total, but it was an easy hike. There was one stream crossing, but it was a pretty easy walk across some clean, flat rocks.
