Geocache Description:

On my last hike this way I happened to come up on a couple horses getting a cool drink out of the small creek that the old horse trail crosses here.

Because horseback riding has been a popular activity in Iroquois Park since it's creation in 1889, it made me pause for a moment and wonder just how many horses have crossed this creek over the past 123 years.

The creek normally has a small flow to a dry creek bed but during times of heavy rain it can be a real challenge to cross the creek without getting your feet wet.

You are looking for a large Bison tube hidden just off the trail next to the creek.  The cache is best accessed from the top of the bank instead of from the creek bed.  Please bring a pen or pencil with you. Parking is available at the horse stables N38 09.327 W085 47.528.
