I am hiding this in the winter to see who badly wants to have the first to find. The key piece of information you need is that the 62 acre property with trails is ONLY accessible from the Westport River. There is NO access from land without crossing private property. The trailhead (kayak landing spot) is listed below.
The Land Trust has done a nice job on the trails, but please obey the no trespassing signs and don't the exit boundaries of the Conservation Trust property.
The rock at the trailhead is a nice spot for a picnic with views across a small channel to osprey nest. The river in this area is shallow and a nice place for a swim.
