Regular rubbermaid container with camo tape. Hidden down in the basin of the park area, and the elevation is a bit steep in some places, may be soggy after a rain.
There used to be another cache in this area, but was removed not to long after our first visit. This cache commemorates our first visit to this park, because it was not only our first geocaching excursion, but it was also the day that my wife and I got engaged, right around the very spot this cache is hidden.
Funny story, we had to come back to this park after finding the original cache in this area, because I had left my phone on the cement bench you will see in the basin of the park. As we went down to retrieve it, I realized, that it was just as good a time as any to pop the question to my, then, girlfriend. As we were starting to walk back to the car, I stopped and said, "Before we leave, there is something I need to do..."
She turned to look at me, and seeing the nervousness all over my face, she smiled at me and said "What, do you need to poop?"
Without missing a beat, I got down on one knee and DID NOT let her remark ruin the moment. She said yes, of course, and we laughed the rest of the day.
This year, we were joined on our Valentine's Day geocaching excursion by our 4 1/2 month old son to place this commemorative cache.
First to find will receive a trackable that also commemorates our geocaching romance. Coordinates should take you within 10 yards, at least.
